L Antica Bifore Lucca

L'Antica Bifore is an exclusive guest house located on the main street, via Fillungo, inside the walls of the historical city centre of Lucca.It is a typical noble "lucchese" residence with high coffered ceilings and original tiled floors. Beautifully preserved original features such as unique arched stained-glass windows and medieval stone walls give the property a sense of elegance and old world charm. The property itself is part of the Torre del Travaglio, one of the three medieval towers of Lucca dating back from the XIV century. There is a large formal reception room for the use of guests containing antique furniture such as a large central table over which is surmounted a beautiful crystal chandelier. Here guests will find a selection of books, city maps, and information about events happening in Lucca and around. Wi-Fi is also available. L'Antica Bifore Guesthouse has four spacious matrimonial suites with each one different in its architectural shape and form. They have beautiful frescoes and unique pieces of period furniture. Three of the suites have arched stained-glass windows (called "Bifore" in Italian) that lookout on to via Fillungo, while the fourth overlooks a private courtyard.While maintaining the old world charm each room offers modern day comforts for a pleasurable stay such as digital T.V. air conditioning and individual heating controls. All have their own private bathroom. Bath products provided are from a tuscan organic range outsourced from a sustainable local grower.For families or friends we offer the possibility of connecting bedrooms. We can provide an extra bed or baby cot if needed.
