Founders A.W. Dikker and Henri Thijs started inhabiting this building in 1921 as a shop selling lobsters, oysters and caviar. It was renovated in 2001, together with the adjacent 18th century warehouse, and now houses the Dikker and Thijs Fenice Hotel in Amsterdam. This elegant hotel has the perfect atmosphere for a peaceful get-away.
