 "Perfect location, service & free upgrade"
My girlfriend and I stayed last week for two nights in this hotel. Staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Upon arrival we received a free upgrade to a junior suite. Breakfast, location, rooms and staff were very good!

 "A Great Place To Stay"
The hotel is quiet, clean and very well furnished. The staff are very helpful and keen to please. The breakfasts are very good. It is very close to Hyde Park (3 minutes walk) and surrounded by great places to eat. It is a 10 minute walk to Paddington Station and the Heathrow Express. All in all a great deal and I will return when I am next in London. One small suggestion, there should be a notice instructing clients to leave their laundry outside the door or change the policy so that the staff pick up the laundry inside the room.  "Two Week Stay"
Stayed at the Blakemore for two weeks with my daughter.The room was excellent and matched the decor of the photos on the internet. My booking of a twin share was met with no issues (I was travelling with my daughter so this was an important factor for me). Rooms in London are small by Australian standards and the Blakemore is no exception. In any case, the space provided was adequate and my daughter and I had no issues co-existing for the duration of our stay.There was some renovation work taking place in some of the rooms and parts of the hotel but none of the work was a genuine inconvenience.The free wifi was fast and only had down time for a few hours on one evening during our stay. The issue was resolved by the next morning. Something to bare in mind is that the wifi only allows connection of one device at a time. I wasn't aware of this until my daughter and I tried had to use the wifi simultaneously but the front desk provided me with a separate log on after I spoke to them about being unable to logon. This was a work-around to the issue and I don't know if there are plans to change the single device rule.Staff were approachable and courteous and we enjoyed our stay. I have no hesitation recommending this hotel to family and friends.

 "Great Hotel!"
The Blakemore was everything I had hoped it would be. Convenient location, lovely rooms (large by European standards!) and all the amenities you could want. The staff were particularly helpful and the rooms were immaculate. Quiet area but easy walking distance to local market, restaurants, shopping and easy cab access. The hotel restaurant had a limited menu but the food was good - and large portions!! We would highly recommend the hotel and absolutely would stay here again.

 "Pleasant & Clean"
My friend and stayed here and we had a pleasant experience. The rooms were clean, neat and beautifully decorated. The continental breakfast was fantastic value and had a great selection.The hotel was not overpriced especially given the location and surrounding hotels and we will definitely be coming back.

Very clean, very friendly at the reception and waitresses. Very good room/bed..no noise in the night. Everything was excellent. If we have to mention one thing that's not so good, that's the breakfast...very poor in comparison to other hotels we've been to. We had a continental breakfast (is included) and beside a few slices of cheese/bacon and jam, bread, that's it :-p The english breakfast was standing next to it with eggs and stuff, but you had to pay a fortune towards it..a little bit ridiculous was the feeling we had...but besides that: a marvelous hotel and a super location to go anywhere to London! We would book the hotel again!

 "New but smelling smoke"
Excellent value for money. Unfortunately, the hotel was being renovated, so around 8 AM the builders started with the noise that goes with it. We, luckily, are early starters.One small defect. We had a newly renovated room and in the bathroom there was a hole in the wall. Not too bad, however, through this the smell of cigarette smoke (from a different floor?) came.

Good: Location - Design of hotel - Room - Clean - Staff very kind and professionnal - correct price in comparison of other equivalent hotels in this area.Bad: Breakfast -> expensive and limited choice, YOU should avoid and go outside in the street, you have many possibilities in the neiborhood -> better and cheaper

Very good hotel, friendly staff, location was OK abo;ut a 5 minute walk from the tube station. Evening meal was very good and so was the breakfast. The room was very comfortable and clean. Would stay there again.

Arriving much too early ( before 11) I couldn't yet check in , but on my return I had been upgraded to a much better room. Very friendly staff throughout my stay. I will come again next year, probably.

 "Beautiful hotel"
Great location, stunning decor, helpful and friendly staff. I will stay there again. We were upgraded to a Club room, however it contained everything I would expect from a standard room so I hate to think what a standard room was. The reception area was very attractive.

 "Quality Service"
Excellent hotel all round. Brilliant room and even better shower. However we were woken at 5.30am by an ajoining rooms T.V. at full blast!!! To be fair, I phoned the desk and the night porter dealt with the problem within five minutes. Not the fault of the hotel, just some idiot probably falling asleep whilst watching T.V. Because of the prompt service I would certainly stay here again.

Hotel is completely renovated! Very nice building. Everthing okay!Is located close to Public Transportations. Calme road. Nice rooms - bathrooms rather small. Service friendly. Would not recomend to have meals at the Hotel.
