 "not very impressed"
the hotel was ok, room very hot, the manager replied to emails beforehand. waitress not english tried to overcharge us for evening meal, then we got back to our room and all the lights were out and we were accused by a member of staff (again not english) of plugging things in (REALLY ) she then took the kettle plug out of the socket and told us not to use it but not offer of a drink of any kind, terrible service and we found them quite intimidating. we were offered a cooked breakfast the next morning, and when we got back to our room after breakfast they had been in the room and taken away the tea tray.the only good thing about this place was the very nice lady called Audrey who knew how to look after guests.

Pros: Reception staff were lovely, and very helpful. hotel very easy to find and near several bus routes and underground. the continental breakfast was good,although we didnt try the cooked breakfast it looked good.
Cons: Rooms a little tired looking but spotless.

Pros: Located ten minute walk from earls court underground and also ten minutes from kensington shopping. room matched picture on website with decent bathroom. hotel was quiet and basic breakfast was typical. helpful staff.
Cons: Our room (on lower or basement floor) smelled very musty and was a little warm however the wall ac worked well.

Cons: Bed extremely uncomfortable so couldn't get a good night's sleep, food not very good (dinner was bad; breakfast was ok, but extremely weak tea), people above us were loud
