SOHO Studios offer 17 self catering studio apartments providing travelers with a comfortable and economical accommodation option in the center of Barcelona's Barrio Gotico area.
There are 3 types of studios including 12 apartments for 2 people, 4 apartments for 4 people and 1 apartment for 3 people. All flats are self catering.
All other modern amenities such as microwave, refrigerator, heating facilites, safe box and satellite tv are featured in your apartment. Enjoy your stay in one of the most emblematic and bustling areas in Barcelona, only a short walk away from Las Ramblas, Plaça Catalunya and the waterfront disctrict, Barceloneta.

NO RECEPTION AREA: The management office hours are EVERY DAY from 9 am to 9 pm. It is mandatory that you call the apartment when you arrive in Barcelona and before you arrive at the apartment in order to receive your exact check-in time.

The studio offers a closet, a bathroom with a shower and kitchen area with a microwave, refrigerator and sink. There is also a table and chairs for 2 persons and for entertainment there is satellite TV in each room. All rooms are equipped with heating and safe boxes.
Please, notice NOT ALL the rooms have exterior windows or balcony. Some of them have an interior window only. SOME rooms are provided with ceiling fans and optional air-conditioning. If you are interested in an air-conditioned room please contact the hotel after you make your booking to see availability. Please understand that when you reserve a Twin Studio you be staying in either the twin room with exterior windows or twin room with interior windows. The studios are allocated regarding they are available at the moment you make the booking. PLEASE NOTE: There is no reception area in the apartments. Their office time is from 9:00 am to 9:00 pm Monday to Sunday. It features super high ceilings and a small second floor where two of the beds are situated. This second floor is accessed by a small spiral staircase. These cozy apartments for 4 are great for a family or a group of friends that want to stay together and save a few Euros.

Wie gelange ich zu dem Hotel ?From Barcelona Airport: Take the Aerobus to Plaça Catalunya. Once there walk to the bus stop on the street Via Laietana. Take any bus (17, 19, 40 or 45) and get off at the third stop near Correos, the main postal office in Barcelona. Walk down Via Laietana for about 20 meters, then turn right on Angel Baixeras street where you will see the large Correos building. The small street Gignas is at the corner. Walk 100 meters and the building is on the right side. The entrance is located near the green light, pharmacy cross.
From Sants train/bus station: Take the metro green line (L3) and get off in Catalunya station. Once there walk to the bus stop on the street Via Laietana. Es gab keinerlei tageslicht und zimmer mit tür zum nächsten zimmer was sehr laut war, ausserdem gab es keinerlei kochmöglichkeiten obwohl studio??? Harrison

Convenient location. room was compact, but fine for 4 people. towels were provided.There is a kettle, fridge and microwave but the website does not make it clear that you need to bring your own cups if you want hot drinks (and a sharp knife, bowls, etc if you want to do any self-catering as only disposable plates and plastic cutlery are provided). Nil• the room stunk of mould!
• the ‘tv’ was a 10 inch screen model mounted 3 meters up on the wall!
• the bed mattresses were of the rubbish foam type. this resulted in two sore backs after what should have been a restful weekend.
• the room had an adjoining room which was rented to other visitors and separated by a locked door - this provided almost no audio privacy. a soft cough/rustling of a bag could be heard through the door!
• access to the front door, stair well (five flights) and room door had very little lighting due to poor maintenance. a very unsafe situation with a real of risk of trip/falls and (perceived) violent crime.
• the lift was not functioning – apparently it had ‘just broken’ yet it appeared to not have been functional for years.
• the room had no windows to the building exterior (two windows to the stairway shaft with sunroof) and certainly no balcony as suggested in the booking information.
• aforementioned windows were not suitable for use as firstly the stairway shaft offered very little more than dusty warm air and secondly were completely insecure allowing anyone to climb in from the stairwell into the room.
