Hôtel Au Manoir St-Germain des Prés Paris  

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Everything we needed was at our fingertips. The location was amazing-perfect for walking to all the sights of Paris. There were many cafes restaurants and shops nearby-even an outdoor market or two. We would recommend this hotel to anyone. The rooms are smaller but the bathrooms very clean and modern. The bed was very comfortable as well.

Pros: The hotel was in a fantastic position, very nice inside. rooms very clean although very small. breakfast good with helpful staff.
Cons: When we came to check out the hotel tried to charge us 300 euros extra saying that we had had a superior room. we stayed in the rooms first allocated to us which had been prepaid but they still said we owed them extra. it was very disappointing after we had had such a good visit. eventually the receptionist allowed us to pay our extras from the mini bar and restaurant but there was no manager working that we could speak to. the receptionish said she was new. she also wanted to charge us for a room tax. perhaps it should be made clearer on the booking confirmation that everything had been paid up front.

Pros: Everyone was very welcoming and helpful from the receptionist to the maids. it was in an ideal location to walk to museums, sightseeing, and access to cafes, restaurants, shops, etc. the hotel was very well kept and charming and the "continental" breakfast that is included was very diverse and filling. i will definitely return on my next trip to paris.
