"Brilliant time"

We just spent 4 nights here and can highly recommend this hotel. The room and bathroom were large, comfy and clean. The mattress was very comfy and the shower was great. The only negative is that the room was v hot, no matter what I did to the thermostat, so no need to bring much nightwear! It's less than 5 mins walk from Termini and many sites are in easy walking distance. Try dining at La Fontana al Viminale on Via del Viminale, very near, simple food at a good price and very friendly. See if you can spot the witch for good luck!

"It may not the best but could be on the list of option."

I booked for a single room but the hotel provided me a double room. N it's the biggest room during my stay in Italy. The location is very close to the train station and it only take 5 mins walk to get the hotel.

"poor service at concierge"

Some people at concierge not helpful. Giving us "talk to my hand" face! But location is excellent. However would try out other hotels next round.

Pros: The hotel its just 5min wlk from termini station which a peerfect starting point if you are using the hop-on-hop-off open deck bus service to tour around rome.
restaurants are not a problem since there a lot of choices around the area from italian (off course) to oriental food. the hotel offers a very satisfying breakfast with very reasonable variety.
the staff are really courteous and very accomodating.
internet access is not a problem, either you are using your own laptop or wanting to just use theri own computer. a good opportunity to check in online so you can have some extra time.
there is a lift for those who need easier access to higher levels.
a good value for money staying in a warm and hospitable hotel with lots of character.

it was quite and the bar and breakfast were accessible.
Cons: We did'nt like the area which was'nt great.

Pros: The room was very spacious and spotless. breakfast is very good too. location is excellent
Cons: The room was very warm. unfortunately the airconditioning was only set on heating and it was very warm. i had to open the window yet had sleepless nights because the noise was unbearable. the female members of staff are very friendly yet the male receptionists are not. the floor in the room is very slippery so not ideal for elderly people.
