Pros: The room was clean with a small drinks fridge and the bathroom was a nice size and very clean. very little noise could be hard from the room. a very pleasing experience.breakfast had an excellent selection, from cereals, fresh fruit, bread, croissants, yogurts to a selection of cold meats. the location was central to the termini and 10 minutes from the colesseum but in a quiet area.

Pros: 400metres from station, clean quiet with very comfortable firm supportive beds. good position for site seeing. several good and inexpensive resturants close by. collesium and roman forum free to 65=

Pros: This hotel is in a convenient location relatively close to the centre and is therefore good value for money. they do substantially discounted single rooms which is good for those travelling with single people - albeit single rooms very small. the hotel is a good base but nothing to get exicited about. nice new renovated bathrooms. the outdoor terraces are a big bonus.
Cons: The hotel is a bit neglected - the rooms are poorly cleaned, doors dirty and could do with a paint. airconditioning doesn't work very well so rooms are warm in summer.

Cons: On arrival there was no record of the reservation. we were given a room in the basement and a promise to be moved to other rooms the next day. this was then put in some doubt witht he receptionists commenting that 'it would be easier for me if you stayed where you are' we were then moved to a hotel in the same chain where the staff were considerably more amenable

Pros: Average hotel in a very good location.
Cons: Uninspiring rooms with two single beds pushed together and flimsy sheets. the tv was tiny and got no english channels. the shower drain was clogged.

Pros: Very close to termini and great local restraunts
Cons: The hotel is showing its age. the bed was incredibly uncomfortable. the shower was impracticle as the detachable showerhead was at knee height and the bathtub was very narrow. the bathroom smelt due to the old plumbing

Pros: The hotel is in a very good location since it is in the heart of the city. one of the receptionists was very helpful when we asked to be transferred to another room. the gentleman serving breakfast was very pleasant too.
Cons: The room that we initially stayed in smelled strongly of cigarette fumes and with my wife very allergic to it, she had allergic rhinitis the moment she stepped in the room. i went to the reception and asked for an air freshener and he promised me a fan which never came. i asked if it would be possible for us to change rooms but he said that there was no room available only for us to know the next morning that there was actually a room where we can move to that night. i was very frustrated because my wife and i had a sleepless night because of hay fever.
