Sacre-Coeur - Basilika

The Basilique du Sacre-Coeur is situated on an area overlooking Montmarte. This place is one of the districts in Paris that are considered most picturesque. The church has a dome that rises above the rooftops, which is considered quite distinctive. The construction of the basilica was commissioned by the Catholic Church. It began in the year 1875 under the supervision of architect Paul Abadie and was completed in 1914.
