The Hotel Evropa is also known as The Grand Hotel Evropa and The Grand Hotel Sroubek. The Hotel Evropa was erected in 1889 and named "U Arcivévody Stepana" (At The Archduke Stephan). In the early 1900s, the hotel was built in art noveau style under the supervision of Bedřich Bendelmayer and Alois Dryák, two famous architects at that period of time. Many famous architects participated in designing the beautiful interior of the Evropa Hotel since.
Rooms at the Hotel Evropa feature single up to quadruple bed rooms with attractive prices suitable for larger groups. Most rooms offer private bathrooms, some kept in Louis XVI style, others renovated with recent furniture. A smaller part of rooms are called "economy class" with only wash basins, shared bathrooms and toilets and they are the cheapest accommodations in Vencelaus Square.
