Pros: Befindet sich sehr zentral und 200 meter vom metro sol, wovon man alle richtungen der stadt erreichen kann.
Contras: Wegen renovierung an der fassade, gab es vom zimmer aus keinen blick auf die straße. nehmen sie sich besser ohrstöpsel mit,jeden abend und nacht ist es sehr laut wegen der umliegenden terrassen. das hostal befindet sich nur auf der 4 etage und ist eher schwer zu finden, der name befindet sich an der turklingel am eingangstor.

Pros: The location was excellent, just around the corner from puerta de sol. right around the hostel was a bunch of bars, which was great for us. we never had to go far for some good beer and tapas. the included breakfast in our stay was a short walk away from the hostel at a local restaurant. it included toast, coffee, and fresh squeezed orange juice, which was plenty for a couple of jetlagged girls at 3:00am home-time. the price was great considering all of these factors as well.
Cons: The room was small, but that wasn't a problem for us as we really only slept there. after all, you don't go to spain to stay in your hotel room all day.

Pros: For the price that we paid to stay in madrid the room was very comfortable.
Cons: The sign for the hostel was impossible to see while driving on the one-way road. also on the site it mentioned there was parking. in fact there was absolutely no parking. we had to drive around for an hour searching for the hotel only to find out that we couldn't park there. if you could make the sign visible it might be easier to find!

Pros: Helpful, friendly staff
Cons: Difficult for cab to find. board faces wrong way on one way street. noisy street (no problem for us as we had earplugs).

Pros: Great location pretty much on puerto del sol square. staff knowledgable and friendly. they also offered quality tours from reception including a city walking tour for free!
Cons: Due to location can be very noisy into the early hours, especially at weekend. take ear plugs!

Pros: The hostel is very central, close to plaza del sol. it is close to a metro station and within walking distance of the old town, the market, el corte ingles, and lots of eateries.
Cons: Our room was quite noisy, even during the night. it is possible that other rooms not on the front of the hostel are quieter.

Pros: Reception staff very helpful with anything you may need. clean rooms and bathroom. definitely more like a hotel than a hostel. 10/10 :-)

Pros: Pleasant and informative staff at reception. bathroom and bedroom very clean.
Cons: Every time we used the bathroom there were two flickering lights on bathroom mirror that would eventually go out.we reported it, but nothing done. arrived on a sunday and had little sleep on the first night, due to the outside street noise. much better on subsequent nights.
