From the Puerta del Sol provides access to the three main pedestrian shopping streets: Preciados, Carmen and Arenal. Other main streets running through the neighborhood are the Gran Via and Calle Mayor. Since the first one we reach the Plaza España and the Plaza de Cibeles, and through the second the Plaza Mayor and the Palacio Real. With the chimes of the clock that presides over the Puerta del Sol Madrid's New Year's eating the famous "lucky grapes". The neighborhood is very well equipped with all services, from restaurants and bars to any trade or activity (language schools, banks, exchange houses, etc.) To the area of museums (Prado, Reina Sofía, Thyssen Bornemizsa ) is accessed by foot in 10 minutes. As for the cuisine, the area is full of many of the most traditional restaurants in town and many bars, nightclubs and discos.

Pros: Mitten in der stadt ein appartment zu haben ist perfekt. ein hotelzimmer bietet weniger als dieses appartment! obwohl mitten in der stadt, war es ruhig - da wir unser appartment in den hinterhof hatten. perfekt!
