Castilla Guerrero Málaga  

This isn't really a tourist hotel. The staff don't do English and neither does the 32 inch TV in the room. Since reception is strangely on the second floor, you can go the whole week without seeing staff. The cafe/bar was only open in the morning and closed at weekends.On the upside the room was spotless, fresh towels every day. We were on the 5th floor and didn't get kept awake by street noise. The location is perfect: lots ot bars and restaurants nearby and for the price it is a pretty good deal.

Pros: Nice,immaculate room. kept spotless every day. hotel staff very friendly and helpful. brilliant location for taxis and for visiting malaga.
Cons: It would have been nice to have had tea or coffee making facilities.

Pros: One of the staffs of the hotel (i think she is the daughter of the hotel master) is very helpful as she could communicate with us in english smoothly and solve our requests immediately
Cons: However, i think the internal communication between the family members of the hotels need to further improve as i felt a little bit of disappointment for the following 2 events:

1. we requested the early morning call which was not done by the hotel

2. one of the young male member of the hotel family was not very polite when he asked us to produce the passport for registration which was actually completed by his mother earlier before.

Pros: Staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were very clean and comfortable.

Pros: Inexpensive and well located for historic malaga. clean and cosy.
Cons: Desk staff least polite of the 5 hotels i stayed at in andalucia during my travels. room very small and overlooked other rooms.
