"Great"
London for that price, in the center of London, during winter, with the breakfast in our room, with out own bathroom, with good heat, i think is really good hostal and i guess that if i dont found next time even cheaper i will come back there cos the staff is quiet friendly. In London u cant expect more for that price cos i expect really something worse than what i had!!!!

"The hotel proprietor(?) was a really nice guy"
Pros: The hotel proprietor(?) was a really nice guy. got along with him really well. we had a laugh. was worth staying there just for him and the other people i met who were staying in the hotel at the same time as me.
Cons: The sink in my room didn't have a plug unfortunately. and my television didn't work.

"Not great!"
What is great about this place? Finding it hard to think of many positives. It's in a nice position, not too far from train or bus stations or stops. The bad points: A bed with thin blankets during the winter, no table, no chairs, no wardrobe, primark bags stuck at the top of the window as insulation, small toilet facilities, temperemental shower, radiator was off, tv was broken, the hotel staff were weird, breakfast was adequate. Don't bother!

"don't not stay here"
The rooms r dirty messy and hazardous. A toilet in a tiny cupboard doesn't function as an en suite. There is no reception. Security is poor and the stair are unsafe. I fell and skinned my chin. We never stayed in fear or further injury. We found a lovely hotel around the corner called the Hanover hotel. I highly recommend this. They only want cash in hand and they man was unclean and didn't appear to kno much about the place. I took pictures of the room to show how bad it was.

"Lcd tv"
Pros: Lcd tv
Cons: Stayed there for one night and i have to say that it was way enough. we arrived, and the guy who struggled to speak english, quickly welcomed us and asked us to pay (without receipt indeed). he asked to fill out a wee paper with adress and so on and drived us in our room where he was actually staying since his stuff were on our beds ... the room was indeed and basic at te first sight ; we asked for a double bedroom and got a twin rooms... then we realised that even the door of the bathroom could not be closed and thus could see everything which was happening in there. tried to find the light and check the air conditionning which was working but then we could not switch it off. we did not manage to have a hot shower which is a basic requirement when you book a hotel. i know that we just pay £20 the night but hot water is the basic for running a hotel i think.
the breakfast was brought into the room a bit earlier than asked; it was simple but alright.
i would not go in that hotel anymore and after that experience decided to pay a bit more for something a bit better but safe!

Cons: Arrived and no answer, there was a note to go across the road to a house if no answer. after filling out information was told they didn't have a twin room that we'd booked only a double, only took cash payment so had to go to cashpoint, when we came back, we were told that they didn't have a room for us but the b&b down the road had one for us instead.

Cons: Oh my god. this hotel was terrifying. they demanded cash in the front hallway on arrival (no front desk, just a guy with a clipboard), then let themselves into our room at midnight and tried to re-let it. when we explained we had already paid, the two proprietors got into a yelling match with each other. the bath was essentially a storage closet with a shower attachment. the whole place was creepy. if i hadn't been traveling with a strong man i would've turned and run the other way immediately. sadly, it was next to like 20 really cute hotels. this place, however, is a hellhole. breakfast was ok, and we didn't appear to get bedbugs.... but we checked for rashes for a few days, and slept in long sleeves and pants, just in case. hands-down awful.

"it was not a positive experience"
Pros: it was not a positive experience. i would never stay there again
Cons: Unable to pay by card -asked to go to cash machine on corner. had to ask for a receipt for my cash payment, twice. towels looked dirty. no tea /coffee facilities in room and no shower gel, soap or shampoo in rooms. no duvet on beds only sheet and thin throw. daughters room -shower was dirty and room very noisy. no onsite reception.
owner of hotel rude and patronising. owner also appeared dirty and scruffy.
