Hotels in Aruba
Aruba has long since been known as a vacation hot spot. The outdoor living and beaches are what this island is known for and the Palm Beach area is no exception. The town is known for its beach, nightlife and shopping. Although the island is only about 70 square miles, it has a lot to offer tourists. One popular attraction is the Butterfly Farm in the city of Oranjestad. It is open year round and features tropical gardens and a chance to see the life cycle of butterflies as they change from eggs to caterpillars and then into beautiful butterflies. The Museum of Antiquities is also located in Oranjestad. It is an unusually shaped building with 23 different rooms that showcase items from Aruba and South America. The Ostrich Farm in Paradera is another interesting spot to visit. It features ostriches and emus, guided tours and shopping at the African Art Shop. This nature preserve spans the width of the island in the Santa Cruz region and offers hiking trails, hidden caves and many other natural attractions. Visitors to Aruba are usually pleasantly surprised at all the island has to offer.
