Our new home will be the former NDSM-shipyard in Amsterdam North, at the NDSM-Pier 3, 1033 RG Amsterdam. This colourful and vital dockside area now houses workshops and artists' studios, hip cafes and restaurants, exhibitions and performances. Among others the media wharf houses MTV, Robodock, and the IJ-festival. At our exciting new location there are FREE of charge public parking spaces for cars as well as busses, and it is just a 5 minutes drive from the Amsterdam Ring road A10. There is also a FREE ferry connection to and from Amsterdam Central Station, and a FREE shuttle bus to and from the Amstel Botel.

How can a guest reach the hotel by public transport from the airport?By Public transport:
You can reach us from the back (north side) of Amsterdam central station. Over there you can take a free of charge ferry (NDSM werf) that will take you in approximately 10 minutes to the Amstel Botel. At night and early morning, when the ferry is not running, we have our own free of charge shuttle bus, clearly marked, opposite the NDSM ferry that will take you to and from the Amstel Botel.
By car:
On the ringroad A10 you take exit S118 directions ”Tuindorp-Oostzaan”. At the crossing you turn left. At the traffic lights you turn right on the”Molenaarsweg”. The “Molenaarsweg” will continue into the “Cornelis Douwesweg”.
You will pass 2 roundabouts and at the traffic lights you go straight ahead on the “Klaprozenweg”. Now take the first street on your right, the “van Riemsdijkweg”.
Now continue straight ahead in the direction of the water to the “NDSM-Pier”

Beforehand we were worried about the new location but in the event we found that although the location was'nt as good as before it wasn't a problem and there was good fast services to central station.

We only stayed in the botel for 1 night but enjoyed it thoroughly, the crossing from central station was really easy and it was nice to away from the centre for night time. Alison Saunders

The staff were really friendly and helpful, the breakfast was good. it was a nice location because it was fun going on the ferry to get to and from the botel.
They didnt serve crossiants for breakfast.
