Description
Dutch Design Hotel Artemis Amsterdam is a new, deluxe 4-star hotel located in the western part of Amsterdam between the city centre and Amsterdam Schiphol Airport.
The hotel is easy to reach either by car or public transport. Hotel Artemis Amsterdam stands apart with its own contemporary modern design style coupled with a warm welcome.
A total of 256 comfortable rooms occupy 8 floors, together with 11 meeting rooms, a large underground car park and a Restaurant-Bar ‘De Stijl’ with a water side terrace.

The geometric influences of Dudok and Rietveld influence the architecture in creating space, which would be internationally recognized.
In Hotel Artemis Amsterdam you find the works of contemporary designers such as Marcel Wanders, Piet Hein Eek and Richard Hutten. Together they helped creating an inspirational atmosphere. The special use of lighting, colours and multi-functional areas creates a comfortable welcome for all guests.

I really loved the style and concept of the hotel and found the staff very friendly and responsive. although quite far from the centre the public transport services are very good.

The artemis hotel is a very modern and comfortable place to stay !! you couldent find a four star hotel in the city for the same price !!The hotel is out of the city and isint covenient if you would like to just drop in and freshen up or drop off some shoping ect.. as a young couple we really wernt to botherd by having to catch the last tram at night or the first tram the next morning !! i wont be staying there again as i would prefer a hotel that is closer to the city !!Anonymous

Room design is very stylish, we were impressed!My partner and i were first put into a disabled room which, being on a romantic city break, we thought a bit weird (e.g. the bathroom was of the 'wet room' type with a disabled chair in it, etc.). when we called the reception to complain the person we spoke to did not understand what we wanted because of his english, so my partner had to go down to the reception and speak to the manager. although his first response was 'you could just move the disabled chair out of the way' (!!??), eventually they moved us to another room with a proper bath etc. otherwise we would have cancelled our booking and moved to another hotel.Anonymous

Lovely hotel, a little far out but bus stop right outside which takes you to the liedseplien. staff very helpful.When we arrived we were told we had booked a sofa bed room, but this i suppose is the websites fault. hotel were quick to upgrade us to queen size room at no cost.Jean Francois Landry

Lovely hotelOnly negative was that we were told by the hotel that we had booked a 'sofa bed room' i.e. not a real bed through you and we were told we'd have to pay extra if we wanted a bed! on your website we'd booked a superior double room, so i think you need to get your facts straight. i have e-mailed separately about this and am surprised i have not received an e-mail from you in response, so now i don't think the hotel was at fault, but it was probably your website mis-selling the room.Anonymous

Clean, modern, comfortable, classy hotel with helpful, pleasant staff.Breakfast was very overpriced, hence we didn't purchase it - however as the hotel is in a business park there is no option of walking to a bakery or restaurant. however the tram to the city centre is 5 mins walk away and doesn't take more than 15 mins to reach the city centre.Anonymous
