How to reach the hotel?1) From SCHIPHOL AIRPORT: Every 20 minutes there is a train running from the Airport to Central Station. When you arrive at the airport and you reach the central hall there is a big sign with the train information. The trains to the Central station are running from 05:40 AM to 00:30 AM (go to step 2)
2) From CENTRAL STATION: You can take metro: 51 from the square in front of the station to the Overamstel. From there you can walk to the hotel +/- 4 min. the trams in Amsterdam are running normaly from: 07:00 AM to 01:00 AM

Good local beer in bar. close(walking distance) to amsterdam arena which was perfect for our trip. 
Not really a negative experience, but they price on the net said 88euros. when i arrived i had to pay 91euros. Pijls

Staff was very helpful- although situated near a railroad and motorway i was not troubled by any noise whatsoever in my sleep at all- bed was comfortableWe were promised a bathtub at booking the deluxe room but not given one, did not report this at the desk though it wasn't important enough to me. no option for a twinbed, so instead we had to make do with two singlesAnonymous

Staff member required me to sign credit card form for payment and later when i decided to pay in cash he ripped up 'something' without giving it back to me. i also asked him not to include breakfast but he did anyway and i had to seek a refund the next day. i am nervous about how my credit card details and signiture were handled.Steven Hughes

It was close to a venue i was visiting. the rooms when cleaned were basic.The hotel did not have any double beds. i booked a deluxe room which meant i got a hair dryer. not impressed this was not a four star hotel.Anonymous
