Frisco Inn a small comfortable hotel, at a few minutes walk from the Central Station in the very heart of Amsterdam, which offers you a clean, modern, inexpensive accommodation with a nice bar-café that serves breakfast & lunch until 14:00 o'clock. Staying here, in the oldest part of city with easy travel to all tourist locations you will be just a few steps away from the famous DAM Square and the Kalverstraat; the longest shopping street in Amsterdam.
Our hotel offers 11 rooms in total and meets all international safety and fire prevention codes. All rooms are equipped with an eco friendly magnetic key card system, cable TV, closet including personal safety deposit box and private bathrooms with shower & toilet. Frisco inn offers single, twin and double accommodation.
The whole hotel is tastefully furnished, clean and equipped with modern facilities, releasing a cozy and nice ambiance. Each room has its own shower and toilet (with shampoo/shower gel), cable TV, electronic safe, closet, hair dryer, iron and board on request. Some of the bigger rooms have a comfy couch. The hotel is manned and secure 24 hours a day and meets all international safety and fire prevention codes.

Frisco Inn is situated in the city centre of Amsterdam walking distance from Central Station, Dam Square and the Kalverstraat.
Frisco Inn is located right on the edge of everything, behind us is the famous red light district with the oldest monuments, cobble stone streets and beautiful architecture, to the left is the famous Dam Square with the Queens Palace, to the right there are tour boats and Central Station, and in front you can find the longest shopping street and all beautiful canals with some of the most luxurious properties in Amsterdam, all well worth seeing!

From the airport you can either take a taxi (approx. 20 min.) or a train (approx. 15 min.) to Amsterdam Central Station ('Amsterdam CS').
From the Central Station of Amsterdam, it's a 5 min. walk to our hotel:
- take the main exit and go straight out in the direction of the Dam Square onto the Damrak
- follow this main street (Damrak) which you can recognize from the canal boats on your left and the Victoria hotel on your right-hand side.
- at the end of the canal (when you see the Grasshopper building on your left) turn left into de 'Oude Brugsteeg'
- next street (at the entrance of the Grasshopper) turn right into the 'Beursstraat' and we are on number 5.

I arrived at 11am when check in was 1pm but the staff got the room prepared quickly and i got in the the room at 11.20. very helpful and friendly.

Thisis a top hotel for teh money you pay, this is our 5th trip to amsterdam and this is the best hotel by far for the money. yeah it's not in the league of the swisshotel but what you do get is, excellent value formoney, spotless rooms and friendly staff all in the best location in 'dam. will be staying here again without a doubt.One very minor fault - one of the rooms was very hot and you had no way of cooling it down. lucily it wasn't my room. a cheap fan in each

I found the room to be clean with modern decor. we stayed in the rear of the hotel which was quite to the outside bustle although the walls are thin and not sound proofed so watch what you get upto! once you get the hang of using the electronic safe in the room (you need to program it) then it's easy. the shower and toilet in my room were separate from each other and both were very clean and stocked with soap dispenser and toilet roll so you don't need to take your own. the staff were very friendly and helpful. i would definately stay at this hotel again.None.Anonymous

Amazing hotel!! absolutely would recommend to anyone coming to amsterdam, especially if you dont know your way around. its close to everything and within walking distance from the station (literally about a 3 minute walk). the staff are incredible and very very helpful! room was simple and clean, perfect for travellers on a budget. check it out!!Anonymous

The location of the hotel is brilliant. the stairs are a nightmare dont know how we didnt kill ourselves on them and the room was dreadful barely the size the double bed which had to be moved every time you needed to open the window. it suited us we just wanted a central location but dont get your hopes up about the room nothing like the website and the bathroom was dreadful too like a public bathroom. if you just want a central location and a bed to come back to its perfect if you want any type of luxury then dont stay here!!!Anonymous

No kettle or hot drink making facilities in the room. was very annoyed that 2 different people entered our room whilst we were in it, thankfully we were fully clothed. they did make their apologies but i thought this was terrible. we also booked a double but it was a twin room. however i would recommend frisco inn.Adrian Rodriguez

The staff were friendly and readily answered any questions that we had. the location of the hotel is absolutely fanastic. we have all ready recommended the hotel 2 friends.The only thing negative is that there was no toiletries in our room like was advertised. we didn't bring any with us because we thought we would get them and because of the 100ml rule.Mr George Dunlop

When we left the guy at the reception wasn't very friendly. several times during our stay we left 1 key at the reception and when we left there still was 1 at the reception but he wouldn't pay back the 5 euro we paid for it. we didn't make a big problem of it but the way he explained it to us was very irritating and arrogant.Anonymous

What a good little hotel!! hotel was very easy to find, great location just down from centraal station. we had a great view from our room, small but great value double ensuite room, excellent for the money! we would certainly stay there again!!! bar downstairs looked nice and staff were friendly. no complaints!!Ok, so the stairs are a little bit scary.... but, all stairs in amsterdam are tiny, winding and narrow...however, as you only have to get the cases upstairs once, and downstairs once it wasnt as bad as it could've been!!
