Description
Attention: The hotel is only 5 minutes from the highway A4, 15 minutes away from Schiphol Airport and 35 minutes away from Amsterdam City Center.
Golden Tulip Lisse, situated between Amsterdam and The Hague, in the centre of the bulb region, next to the flower park Keukenhof. The hotel is an ideal starting point to go shopping or to enjoy a cultural visit to one of the historical cities of Haarlem, Leiden and Amsterdam. The guests who are coming just to relax, are at the right address! Get a breath of fresh air at the beach, take a walk in the forest of Keukenhof or go biking to the Kager Lakes for example.
The hotel has 122 comfortable guest rooms and free parking in front of the hotel. The hotel has an excellent cuisine and a cosy bar. In the hotel you can relax at our swimming pool, sauna, solarium, or on our tennis court. In the restaurant you will find a Children’s corner, where your child can play. Besides all this, the hotel also offers free wireless internet.

Excellent breakfast every morning, room once we declined room 135 (a small closet my wife called that), we were given a larger room on the 3rd floor, clean and comfortable.Frontdesk attitude. remember, it was the hotel that made the error in rpicing, giving us room and breakfast for 32 euro per night-probably the best deal of the entire three week trip!Anonymous

Even though in terms of distance is not that far fron amsterdam, a taxy cost around 80 euros, and the only other possible choice is getting an hour bus to another town and then getting a train of about 20 min, it is just tooo far away..David Huck

We booked the 2 nights + 1 free offer which was a bargain. the hotel was very comfortable and the staff helpfull and friendly. the buffet breakfast was excellent. the hotel restaurant was nice and reasonably priced. we hired bikes and cycled into the neighbouring towns, which was fun. It was too far to travel into amsterdam really as there is not a direct bus. you have to get the bus from outside the hotel to, say, harleem and then get another bus or train. it's fine if you just want a break and not too fussed about sightseeing. I stayed one night only--for a rest before traveling back to seattle from paris.
it was the best rest i'd had in 5 weeks and i would like to come again and stay longer
and rent a bike. because my stay was so short i can't really provide a thorough
review, but i would definitely stay there again. i come to europe twice a year and
i find that staying in the netherlands is the best way to enter europe after such a
long trip.The only thing i didn't like was the annoying sound system--this has become a feature
of nearly all hotels and it is irritating, especially in the morning.Davies
