The hotel is located on Rembrandt Square where the many restaurants, bars and terraces bring about a vibrant atmosphere in summertime.
Hotel Atlanta is located in the city centre and within a few minutes walking distance of museums, galleries, theatres, cinemas, shops, restaurants, canals, bars, discos, nightclubs and casinos.
From Schiphol Airport it is only 30 minutes away by train to Central Station and from Central Station to the hotel it is a quick 5 minutes ride by either tram number 4 or number 9.
By car, coming from the A2, Hotel Atlanta is within easy reach (30 minutes). From the A2, follow the signs to the city centre, along the Rijnstraat, Van Woustraat, Fredericksplein, Utrechtsestraat to the Rembrandtplein.
How to reach the hotel?1) From SCHIPHOL AIRPORT: Every 20 minutes there is a train running from the Airport to Central Station. When you arrive at the airport and you reach the central hall there is a big sign with the train information. The trains to the Central station are running from 05:40 AM to 00:30 AM (go to step 2)
2) From CENTRAL STATION: You can take tram: 4, 9, 14, and 20 from the square in front of the station to the Rembrandtplein. From there you can walk to the hotel +/- 2 min. the trams in Amsterdam are running normaly from: 07:00 AM to 01:00 AM

NoneNoisy, towels dirty on two occasions, both of us received numerous insect bites each night. the general state of the hotel was shabby, with worn carpets and we constantly had to ask to have replacement toiletry items and tea/coffee. even the room safe provided was not secured down, so could have easily been lifted up and carried off. The first room we were given had a large single bed and we were told it was a double. this was clearly not true as there was a single bedhead behind it and the bed had to be against one wall to allow passage up the side. we were moved to another room for the following 3 nights, which was clean but not up to scratch. the hotel cost over £100 a night for 2 people without breakfast. by international standards the size of the rooms and the way they were presented was very poor. it would have been just as well to stay at the hilton in the suburbs!!! where i have stayed before.GUTIERREZ ZIGARAN
