Hotel Clemens Amsterdam is a small and friendly family hotel, which can accommodate up to 20 guests. Business people, leisure travelers and families will appreciate the clean, well decorated and isolated rooms.
Situated in the very centre of Amsterdam, between two famous canals, Herengracht and Keizersgracht, guests find themselves within walking distance of many famous Dutch tourist attractions like the Royal Palace, The Anne Frank House and the Westerkerk.
The Hotel has recently been modernized and renovated (2005) and meets the latest International Safety and Fire prevention codes. The friendly atmosphere and generous hospitality have drawn guests back to the Hotel Clemens over and over again.

Hotel in good position for many attractions, and near tram for central station. part of attractive deco terrace. helpful welcoming staff, nice room and attractive breakfast rom. breakfast above average for this price range. room and shared toilet and shower spotless, with good hot water supply. quiet room at back, though front may be noisier (that tram !)friendly young staff.Like all amsterdam hotelss of this age, there are stairs. and stairs. some elderly (i amm only 72) or disabled gusts may find this a problem.no credit cards.Anonymous

Staff were friendly and the breakfast was good. location was perfect. 5 minutes walk away from all the good stuff but still a nice quiet location. We thought we could pay on card as advised on the website but then they wanted cash at check in and that caught us by surprise. Anonymous

The breakfast was great huge range of things. also it was great to have a balcony with table and chairs. The stairs are killer especially if your on the 3rd floor 73 steep steps in total.also in the double couple rooms you have the pipes for the hotel heating/water system in your room and the noise is 24hrs a day.very annoying as your going asleep.Anonymous
