Hotel Luxer Amsterdam is located right in the centre of Amsterdam's old and historical heart. It is a newly built 3-star hotel with 47 excellently furnished rooms that all have colour television, bath, shower, toilet as well as a telephone.
Hotel Luxer Amsterdam has a elevator, cosy bar and lounge. The hotel has 24-hour security camera monitoring, in-house music and air conditioning.
The breakfast buffet is served in the breakfast lounge. Our staff is ready to give a warm welcome to our guests, and will make sure that you feel at home during your stay. The reception is open 24 hours a day.

How to reach the hotel?1) From SCHIPHOL AIRPORT: Every 20 minutes there is a train running from the Airport to Central Station. When you arrive at the airport and you reach the central hall there is a big sign with the train information. The trains to the Central station are running from 05:40 AM to 00:30 AM (go to step 2)
2) From CENTRAL STATION: You dont have take the tram, you can walk to the hotel +/- 5 min. the trams in Amsterdam are running normaly from: 07:00 AM to 01:00 AM

The location of the hotel was excellent and the main door to the hotel was always secure and monitored and gave 24 hour access. the room was clean and very quiet considering it's central location. nice view of church tower.Clarke

Substantial breakfast with good variety at a cost of 10 euros extra per day.Neighborhood was very bad -- inside the red light district. not safe for a woman traveling alone; would not appeal to a mature couple either. also, had to pay 5 euros extra per night for a lock for the safe. i thought that the lock should have been included in the cost of the room.Anonymous

Clean great location if you dont mind being right in the red light and central station district. third floor double for single use was very comfortable for amsterdam and the cleaning people were very flexible great little late night bar and i could take the key with meGiven the euro and the summer season it was pricey but definitely more comfortable than most i would go back though - i didnt eat the breakfast so i didnt pay for it and though there were always oeople around it was right next to the slightly seedy areas maybe not the best for kidsMarchant

Comfortable room. easy to find and very convenient for arriving by train in amsterdam, or for transferring to the airport. i used this venue to attend a concert at the heineken music hall and it was easy to reach from the hotel via the metro.Feels safe enough, but also slightly unsafe, so that is sort of a negative when travelling alone. "hotel luxer" is a very good hotel, its location is perfect for those who visit amsterdam for the first time. it is easy to find and it is located in the very center so you won't need a taxi to get there from the rail way station. rooms are good and defenetly cost that money that you pay for them. next time i am in amsterdam the "hotel luxer" will be my first choice.Anonymous
