1) From Schiphol Airport: Every 20 minutes there is a train running from the Airport to Central Station. When you arrive at the airport and you reach the central hall there is a big sign with the train information. The trains to the Central station are running from 05:40 AM to 00:30 AM (go to step 2).
2) From Central Station: You can take tram number 1 (direction Osdorp de Aker) and get off at 'Eerste Constantijn Huygensstraat'. The hotel is very close to the tram stop. The trams in Amsterdam are normally running from: 07:00 AM to 01:00 AM.

Mario on reception extremely friendly also other staff.the beds are very comfortable and rooms clean and warm.i requested a room on lower floor due to recent opperation i had and was granted this no problem, thank you.The only negative is not having an en suite but toilets clean and just outside bedroom door.Matthew Frost

Everybody was nice. it is in a great neighborhood, close to museums and the park and near a grocery and internet cafe.The photo was ridiculously inaccurate. they should post photos of each type of room, not just the nicer ones. i still would've taken it but i really bumped my shoulders in there. quite small. a sliver of converted attic space.Anonymous

Friendly and helpful staff. Cleanliness of bath room facilities were not very good, our room was not cleaned very well, bed sheets and bath towels were not changed the whole time we were there, and the cleaner left are balcony door open all day on one occasion and someone could have got in.Anonymous

This was booked for my son and friends the hotel was informed via youself that they would be on a late flight
however on arrival they had to beg the staff to allow them entry i.e. they were initialy turned away depite having booked and having full payment in cash - they did pay full amount in cash - i am still unsertain about monies (if any) being taken from my visa card acount & would of been happier to pay the full amount at time of booking.Anonymous

Mario the hotel manager is there most days...he's fabulous! other staff is freindly and as well. they are always willing to tell you the best way to get somewhere, or call to make reservations for a canal trip or dinner reservations for you. i heard them tell to young male travelers not to go to a certain palce that it might not be safe for them, things like that. i stayed a week, most guests stay one or two nights.Because it's a shared bathroom hotel and although the sharing wasn't a problem i didn't see as much cleaning going on in there as i would have like...but i tell you what after we left the bathroom was sparkling ont he first floor! amazing what a little bleach can do. other than that, the kitchen the staff prepared breakfast in was very clean. and the rooms were very cleaned daily too.Laszlo Katona
