Description
Hotel Ramenas is a friendly low budget hotel on a great location. Just near the central station. On a walking distance from the famous nightlife and tourist sights. Rooms are simple but clean and comfortable.
Breakfast is included in the hotel (not for apartment and studio!) until 10.30 in our cosy neighbourhood restaurant where we also serve sandwiches and lunches ( 10 % discount for our guests). We both welcome backpackers and families. Check in time is until 23:30

How to reach the hotel?1) From SCHIPHOL AIRPORT: Every 20 minutes there is a train running from the Airport to Central Station. When you arrive at the airport and you reach the central hall there is a big sign with the train information. The trains to the Central station are running from 05:40 AM to 00:30 AM (go to step 2)
2) From CENTRAL STATION: You can take bus: 18, 22 and 46 from the square in front of the station to the Buiten oranjestraat. From there you can walk to the hotel +/- 2 min. the trams in Amsterdam are running normaly from: 07:00 AM to 01:00 AM

The studio apartment booked through the hotel was very well located. it's close to all main transport links and is in a very nice part of the city.The only downside is that the bathroom of the studio apartment we stayed in was way too small. the bathroom consists of only a toilet and shower (without a shower curtain) and almost no room to move. the only sink in the place is the one in the kitchen.Anonymous

This hotel is in a nice area which is close to all the main attractions but not too noisy and is compfortable enough. bedding was clean and bed quite comfy. hotel staff are very helpful.The floors and walls were quite dirty as were the shared bathroom and shower in the hall. stairs to the top floor are really steep (like climbing a ladder).Anonymous

Brill locationIf staying in the apts you should know that the fridge,cooker do not work. no kettle, no dvd. these rooms are basic. if you dont want these things i would suggest paying a bit extra for a nice hotel. also no double bedAnonymous

The fact that we were above the restaurant was cool, and we had alot of room.
the room was quite spacious for 5 beds, so that was a major plus! the staff were nice especially the cleaning lady who was quite helpful even though she didnt have the slightest idea what i was talking about.There was the small problem of the fact that i thought i had paid for the room and found out that my bank details which were given online were just for guarantee. i'm not stupid but i didnt feel comfortable about them having this personal info of mine. The hotel location was perfect - close to everything we wanted - short walk to places of interest - staff friendly and helpfulRoom was very small - dissapointing - view out of window was awful, although bed was comfy the room in general was just way too small - not enough room to move around easily, also no safe which was supposed to be included. more like a hostel than a hotel.Anonymous

We were surprised by the hotel, it has a nice little bar where breakfast is served and seats outside. the rooms were fine too, clean and we got fresh towels every day. The breakfast was very small with no choice and the rooms could have done with some new paint. Anonymous
