My room (001) was next to the kitchen which ment i was woken up at about 6 every morning by loud talking and banging and crashing. would not recomend either room 001 or 002.Anonymous

Good bed-linen, great breakfast. a smoking area/outside would be a good thing.We've stayed here three times and the last was not the best. they shut the bar at 12.15 after we'd returned a concert, we knew from the night before that it's supposed to shut at 1am. not happy!

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. the staff were helpful and the room was clean. the location was great. i didn't really want to stay in the red light district, as that can be very loud. and the leidse square hotel was not too far out either. we were near the night life, but not in it. also vondel park is close by; a great place for cycling. i felt the price was a bit much, but we did visit in the middle of summer. i would highly recomend this place to anyone. The hotel is great value for the dollar and has a good location and breakfast. we were very pleased with the whole thing. i did not book it personally, so cannot comment on your website. i'd recommend it to most anyone, except for handicapped or very elderly who may have trouble with the stairs - although there weren't many. not what i would call romantic, but very nice & comfortable.Anonymous

Good, central position. friendly, helpful staffOur room was on the ground floor at street level on a corner.noise was a problem.
the street address was not given on the website printout and our taxi driver (from the airport)was unable to locate the hotel (it is not in leidse square) - he eventually dropped us several streets away with incorrect directions and four heavy suitcases. also, there were steps at the entrance to negotiate with the heavy suitcases.

Can't think of anything "positive" to say, except that one of the front desk staff was nice. the others left a lot to be desired.Tiny, tiny room. no place for suitcases. bathroom bad. dirty dishes for breakfast. poor room cleaning.
