Hotel Multatuli is a pleasant and comfortable hotel named after one of the greatest writers in the history of Dutch literature. The hotel is opposite the Central Station in the bustling centre of Amsterdam. A public underground car park is at one minute walk from the hotel.
The hotel possesses attractively, luxurious and superbly-equipped rooms, with facilities including a mini bar, safe, air-conditioning, TV, telephone and equipped with bath or shower. The hotel has a private infrared cabin, private Turkish sauna and WiFi internet as well. How to reach the hotel?1) From SCHIPHOL AIRPORT: Every 20 minutes there is a train running from the Airport to Central Station. When you arrive at the airport and you reach the central hall there is a big sign with the train information. The trains to the Central station are running from 05:40 AM to 00:30 AM (go to step 2)
2) From CENTRAL STATION: You dont have take the tram, you can walk to the hotel +/- 5 min. the trams in Amsterdam are running normaly from: 07:00 AM to 01:00 AM

Located very close to central station which makes it ideal as you can walk and arrive in minutes. the room was fine, bit cramped but what do you expect? didn't hear much noise and our room had a nice view of a canal. the shower was a bit crap as went hot cold hot cold constantly but we didn't complain. never up on time for breakfast so can't judge, but the room service burger goes great after a day in the coffee shops.
all in all, i recommend the hotel. especially for the finding nemo themed fish tank in reception.Showers were bad and rooms a bit cramped. everything else was fine. it's a 3 star hotel, so what do you expect?

This hotel is a fantastic for location of the city. it is opposite the central station and surprisingly on a very quiet road, away from the crazy night life but within walking distance. the breakfast was very good for continental, which is usally toast, tea & coffee. instead they served boiled or scrambled eggs, bacon, a selection of cheeses and breads and cereal. they also had variety of teas, herbal and fruit. staff were very friendly and accommodating N/aBrendan Fitzpatrick
