The Nova Hotel Amsterdam is located on a beautiful green square in the centre of Amsterdam and almost directly behind the Royal Palace on Dam square. The Nova Hotel Amsterdam consists of five authentic Amsterdam canal-side houses, combining a glorious past with modern conveniences. The 61 hotel rooms behind the hotel's historic façade are furnished in warm colours and provided with every convenience such as a modern bathroom, colour television with video channels, wireless internet in all rooms and a refrigerator to store the food and drinks you have purchased. The hotel also has several three and four-persons rooms to make it easier to share a room with family and friends during your travels.

The hotel is located on Nieuwezijds Voorburgwal between "Dam" square and "Spui" square right in the heart of Amsterdam.
Famous shopping areas like the Kalverstraat, Magna Plaza and The Bijenkorf as well as many museums (Anne Frank House, Historical Museum) and the colourful Flower market are nearby.
For a night out in the city centre you don’t have to go far. There are numerous excellent restaurants and cafés in the immediate vicinity. Ask the hotel's receptionists for any details.
How to reach the hotel?How do I get to the Nova Hotel by public transport? :
1) From SCHIPHOL AIRPORT: Every 20 minutes there is a train running from the Airport to Amsterdam Central Station. When you arrive at the airport and you reach the centrall hall there is a big sign with the train information. The trains to the Central station are running from 05:40 AM to 00:30 AM.
2) From AMSTERDAM CENTRAL STATION: You can take tram no.: 1 or 2 or 5 departing in front of the station and get off at Dam square. From there you can walk to the hotel +/- 2 min. The trams in Amsterdam are running from: approx. 07:00 AM to 01:00 AM.

Lovely building situated very close to dam square and the centre of town. the hotel is set back from the road so street noise was a minimum even though we were on the first floor. the staff at the hotel couldn't have been more helpful and our stay here was a good one. i would recommend the nova hotel highly.Berrisford

My daughter and i were travelling alone and felt very safe in the area of the hotel. the location, rooms, and quality of breakfast all exceeded our expectation. the night desk clerk was especially kind and helpful and impressively spoke eight different languages. we would stay here again and encourage anyone coming to amsterdam to stay here as well.

The location is perfect and the hotel was so easy to find. we stayed in a triple room and it was a lot bigger than i thought it would be. on arrival at 2pm we checked in to find our room wasn't ready, we went down to reception to advise them and they changed our room without hassle. the staff were very helpful!Anonymous

I visit amsterdam regularly as i have a friend that lives there. this was the first time i had stayed in the nova hotel and it was excellent. right in the city centre close to transport and central station. the staff were helpful and friendly and the rooms were clean and spacious. i think they have refurbished recently and it has a lovely contemporary feel. next time i go back i will stay there again.
