How to reach the hotel?Public Transportation from the Airport - take the train to Amsterdam Zuid W.T.C. then take tram 5 in the direction of Central Station. Exit at Hobbemastraat. Follow the tram tracks on foot. The Park Hotel is located on the right-hand corner (5 minute walk).
From Den Haag - Schiphol Airport (A4) - from the A4 follow direction Zaandam, then exit at S-106. At the end turn right. Pass the roundabout at Surinameplein, move into the left lane crossing the bridge. Turn left into the Overtoom. At the end turn right into the Stadhouderskade. At the third traffic lights change to the left lane and the Park Hotel is on your right-hand side.
From Utrecht (A2) - follow direction Centrum. After entering Amsterdam city limits, turn right at the first traffic lights into President Kennedylaan. This will continue into the Amsteldijk. At the T-crossing, turn left into Stadhouderskade. Follow this road and pass the Rijksmuseum. The Park Hotel is located 50 metres down on the left-hand side.
From Diemen / Amersfoort (A10) - follow direction Centrum, Amsterdam, Schiphol and exit at S-112 Centrum. At Amstel Station, follow direction Centrum into the Wibautstraat. At the large crossing, turn left. Follow this road and pass the Rijksmuseum. Park Hotel Amsterdam is located 50 metres down on the left-hand side.
Public Transportation from Central Station - take tram 1, 2 or 5 and exit at Leidse Square. Continue by foot towards the Vondelpark. Directly next to the Vondelpark, opposite Holland Casino, you will find the Park Hotel on the corner (5 minute walk).
From Amsterdam Zuid W.T.C. - take tram 5 in the direction of Central Station. Exit at Hobbemastraat. Follow the tram tracks on foot. The Park Hotel is located on the right-hand corner (5 minute walk).
From Hotel to Schiphol Airport - turn left into the Overtoom. At the end turn right, direction A10, than follow signs to Schiphol Airport.

Reception were very helpful, as they thought there was only 1 person staying instead of two, but they offered us a choice of rooms. they also provided advice on a spa.

Everything except see belowWhen i made the booking i received an email from the hotel saying that there were not enough funds in my credit card account. there were, but the inexperienced hotel person aroused suspicion by my bank and they cancelled the card. i then had to resubmit and they charged me the wrong amount so it came as a shock when i had to pay more on leaving the hotel as i thought i had paid the full price.Anonymous

Rooms were clean, breakfast facilities were good. location excellent.Fire safety issues, fire door not functional on 5th floor, jammed open and no handle on inside if closed by accident. fire exit on 5th. floor for our room closed off due to building site.

Arrived during major hotel refit, workmen all over the place, dirty stairways and lift, noisy room had to swap rooms to get a bit of peace.
rooms advertised as modern and new but walls shook like a cheap film set when doors down the corridor were closed, fittings and workmanship are cheap, felt embarrased to have taken my girlfriend to this hotel as it was sold on me as a luxury stay, anything but. Anonymous

We were upgraded on arrival to the best room in the hotel, in the 'tower'. the staff could not have done more tomake our stay more pleasant. from the receptionist to the porters they were very helpful.
the location of the hotel was perfect for seing all areas and not too noisy at night.There were hotel renevations going on while we were there so we had to use a service lift but apart from that it did not interfere with our stay.Anonymous

The staff were friendly and infomative and always happy to help. we felt the room was far smaller than it appeared on the web cam veiw, also work was being carried out on the corridor outside our room and that was dark, and the fire doors were never closed which is of some concern.Claire Parkinson

Clean hotel in good location and friendly staffWe had a room on the main road and was kept awake all our first night by the sound of the traffic - it felt like we had a bed in the middle of the road!
we were moved for our second night to another room, the only problem was this time is was an adjoining room, which meant wr could hear every word that was being said next door, again resulting in another sleepless night, hence our trip being spoilt by this.Anonymous
