The Grab & Go Corner provides vending machines with home-made food from local bakeries and caterers, beverages, and a range of amenities. Qbic Hotels can be defined by design hotels for trendy leisure or business travelers that are aware of their budget. Especially for our business travelers, we give you free wireless internet access in the hotel and in your room.
Please note: in contradiction to the cancellation policy stated below, all made reservations are non refundable, non changeable and non-cancelable. Lovely decoration.
First of all, before choose this hotel i read all the reviews, and when reading the negative points about the place, i tought that perhaps people were just to fussy, but they were not!!!
i'd say that qbic hotel is not a hotel, but a youth hostel with a nice decoration.
my bedroom was so dirty and with so many hair on the floor that it could make a wig.
the room had no "do not disturb" signage, so i was waken up on a sunday by the maid who literally, and i said literally banged a the door just to handle clean towels to me.
the place has no room service, just vending machines which around 11:00pm were completely empty and no food could be found around the hotel.
the toilet is very dark and and has no door making this hotel is a terrible idea for couples. also a open window could be a good idea in the room.
the only good thing i have to say about the hotel is the reception guys who were extremely friendly.Man

The bed is excellent, the shower also!!The neonlight around the bed were blue the whole time, we couldn't figure out how to change the settings (more info about that)Anonymous

The rooms are great with the different coloured lighting to set a mood. very futuristic.The hotel is based quite far away from the centre of amsterdam so it was quite a journey to get in and out of town.
there was only 1 member of staff on duty at each time as everything was self service which we did not like.Anonymous

Hotel location is great, easy to access from the airport. the design of the room is very unique and modern. staffs are very kind.Hotel room is not clean (especially on the floor and the quilt). need a big mirror (to see yourself from head to toe)as well as a curtain or sliding door for the showerspace and the toilet, since everybody can see them when your room door is open. the room had everything i needed (except a cup) and nothing i did not need. Could you place a cup in the room? there was nothing to drink water from. i took a paper cup from the breakfast area. perhaps a paper cup in the room would be convenient.Vinay Kant

Great concept, quirky rooms. sometimes not always practical but we enjoyed our stay as it was different to anywhere we'd stayed before.
although the hotel isn't central the public transport links from the wtc are excellent. 15 mins on a tram; we paid 14euro for a 3day pass which was excellent value for money. also airport is 10 minutes on the train. The only thing we found annoying was the fact that you had to use your room card to power electricity/shower in your room. we were only given one card so it meant we both had to be in the room at the same time - if we wanted power and light! We had a great stay at the qbic. as we had read all the comments we had what we expected( in the bath there's no door for example but as we are not too fussy there was no probs). it has all facilities, staff is great and useful, the tram it's just few steps away and it takes 10min to centraal station, taxi 12euros. it just takes 7min from schiphol airport to the zuid train station which is where u take the tram from. free wifi in ur room and free internet at the lobby.They can improve in the room cleanliness despite not being too bad. we loved the place but we might go somewhere more central next time.Leoni Van Leeuwen

Great location close to train to/from airport (10mins), trams/metro into the city. quiet room even though right next to motorway and train/tram stops. novelty room, looked cool with the colour changing lights above the bed and shower. very large comfortable bed, and powerful shower. staff knowledgeable and friendly.Haphazardly cleaned room, which got worse throughout our stay..dust on floor, stains in bathroom, hair on floor and in bed sheets. the climate in the rooms could only be controlled by the manager on site and it effected all other rooms on the complex so it was pretty much useless. no shelves in bathroom to hang bags, or toiletries on in shower, and most of all there was no door! -you have to know your companion well. this wasn't mentioned on your site. you had to pay for hot water and drinks (which are usually free in most hotels of this price) there were restaurants, bars and shops on the wtc site, but they were only open weekdays so were pretty much useless for our weekend stay. also as it was a weekend we had to buzz to get into the complex twice each time which was highly annoying. much better place for a quick weekday stay.Tarkan Ors

Nice style of rooms, nice people at the reception, very kind.Yes the doors are closing to loud, espcially the connecting doors and there is `do not disturb sign` to put it at the dook outside! it is hard to stay in these rooms as a couple or with a friend because of the bathroom/toilet does not have a door because connected to the room directly.

Bed was ever so comfy which was very positive for us, really enjoyed the different coloured lights, very romantic and seductive.Room was slightly cold, didn't seem to be any heating so we had to leave the shower on hot for a while to heat up the room. it obvious that the rooms don't have much facilities in comparison to having stayed in many hotels before. althought this hotel is unlike any other i have stayed at before, so i was able to accept the fact that it wouldn't have the same service for its unusual and hip style hotel.LORRAINE JONES
