How can a guest reach the hotel by public transport from the airport?*How do I get to the Quentin Hotel by public transport? :
1) From SCHIPHOL AIRPORT: Every 20 minutes there is a train running from the Airport to Central Station. When you arrive at the airport and you reach the central hall there is a big sign with the train information. The trains to the Central station are running from 05:40 AM to 00:30 AM (go to step 2)
2) From CENTRAL STATION: You can take tram: 1 and 5 from the square in front of the station to the Leidseplein. From there you can walk to the hotel +/- 1 min. the trams in Amsterdam are running normaly from: 07:00 AM to 01:00 AM

Good location, clean towels and bedding are about the only positives i have for this hotel. 
I must agree with other comments i read about this hotel. my rooms carpets were dirty and torn, not even fitted
properly. the red light district rooms had better lace/net curtains than my room. these were filthy and torn. they should not have even been hanging there. one window which only opened a third of the way. no fan or air conditioning for hot days/nights as we had. a two star road lodge in south africa would be on par with a 3/4 star hotel in amsterdam. as a tourist destination, it is better to check out the 5 star establishments first. this hotel is only ok if you are on a shoe-string budget. wont be staying there again! Exellent location and helpful staff on 24hr
Room just need a spruce up, carpet thread bear, dirty walls anr lampshade falling to bits, but if not spending much time in your room then you can put up with this for the location.
