Description
Hotel Tourist Inn is a recently constructed low budget hotel which offers visitors exceptional comfort. The hotel is located in the heart of Amsterdam, and all major attractions and nightlife areas are only few steps away.
Tourist Inn welcomes backpackers as well as families. The hotel consists of 22 rooms with total capacity of 87 persons. We can accommodate groups up to 70 persons. We have no curfew and the reception is open 24 hours.
The hotel offers an international telephone at the reception and hot- & soft drinks and snacks are also available. All credit cards are accepted and there is no extra charge for towel, sheets, etc.

Cheap, great location, stayed in the 5 bedroom room which had nice tv and 5 single comfy beds. toilets and shower were spotless and there is a lift! and free tea, juice, toast and cereal in the morning
Didnt know it was a non smoking hotel but we got away with it anyway. breakfast stops at 9.30!!!Anonymous

Location was fabulous, close to everything. room was fine, big windows, great shower, private bathroom. our expectations are low for a room at this price, we prefer to spend our money on enjoying the city. this hotel is more like a hostel, but that is fine.Staff were ill informed bordering on cruel. credit card machine was down, cash payment demanded. room was not cleaned, bedding not changed until we made friends with the poor guy who had to do it and gave him a tip. we were told that we had to move rooms, packed up everything, brought it downstairs and then were told that there was a cancellation and we could stay where we were. forcing us to waste valuable time on our last day-very aggravating! front desk staff have no clue about customer service, management clearly doesn't care. will not stay again, not because of the hotel itself but rather because of the shoddy treatment received throughout our stay.Anonymous

The location was excellent, it was very near to everything we needed and needed to get too.Hotel staff may as well have been cardboard cutouts! they were not at all friendly. the breakfast arrangements were chaotic and generally seemed to involve a free for all stampeed. the rooms are far too small, they are akin to a shoe box literally. i would say to anyone stay at the hotel if you are desperate, it's ok but i wouldn't prioritise it as first choice. the hotel rooms provide little privacy due to the positioning of the windows. in the room where we were on the top floor, everyone who came out of the lift could see straight into out room which was horrible.it was too noisy as wellAnonymous

5 minutes away from central station. close to attractions. 24 hours access, no curfew. tv in room. cheap beer vending machine. Computer usage is poor. kept logging us out even though our time was not up yet and we've paid for the time. minimal housekeeping (they never cleared our old towels or changed our sheets) and hotel staff interaction (don't bother us attitude). no telephone usage except to call the front desk. street is noisy so not recommended for those looking for a quiet spot. Good location, near the centre but just far enough away to be quiet. reliable lift! room reasonable for the price. prompt response to email. credit card machine is now working again! open 24 hours, check-in not restricted to late afternoon. Hotel was very central and convenient.The hotel can be very noisy in the early hours of the morning with intoxicated folk arriving in their rooms. upon complaining to the staff they said they couldn`t do anything about it.Anonymous

The rooms were all very clean, the shared toilets and bathrooms were in excellent condition and always clean. all staff were very friendly and helpful. beds were comfortable and tv's in every room.The breakfast provided was not really very good, the selection of food was fine, but unless you arrived in time for the very beginning of breakfast at 8am, there was hardly anything left.
