How to reach the hotel?By train: From Schiphol Airport, every 20 minutes there is a train running to Amsterdam Central Station. When you arrive at the airport and you reach the central hall there is a big sign with the train information. The trains to the central station are running from 05:40 AM to 00:30 AM. From here, follow the steps below.
By tram: From Amsterdam Central Station, you can take tram nr. 5 and 24 from the square in front of the station and get off at 'Museumplein/Concertgebouw'. From there you can walk to the hotel in approximately 2 minutes. The trams in Amsterdam are normally running from: 07:00 AM to 01:00 AM.

As a budget hotel this is one of the best. it has character it is an ideal location by the concertgebouw and across from the van gogh gallery and rjiksmuseum. rooms are utilitarian, clean, comfortable and the all the facilities work. great shower. staff are helpful and efficient.

The only positive things about this hotel was its location in the museum district and the relative helpfulness of some of the staff.It was the worst hotel we have ever stayed in. it was run down, dark and dingey. a smell of sewage in the halls. no ventilation in the very old bathroom. room very hot day and night. does not rate 3*!! does not even rate as a hostel. the breakfast was terrible and in a very dark room at the back of the chinese restaurant.John Norris

Great location. room clean but could do with serious updating of decor as quite depressing if you stayed a long time in the rooms. Just the decor of the hotel and that people still smoke in rooms - you could smell smoke in the corridors which was a bit unpleasant. also, rooms are tiny.Richard

The hotel was great for the price and had everything we needed for a short stay. some of furnishings were a bit tired, but the rooms were clean, the water was hot and the breakfast was above average.

It suited us perfectly. the quadruple room was big enough. the bedlinen very clean. lovely hot water. quiet and peaceful. the breakfast was excellent.Would have loved tea making facilities in room but not essential as there are facilities down at desk.Anonymous

The location of the hotel is good. nearby there are a lot of museums and is also easy to rich the central station. the breakfast is very good. Our room was very narrow. hovewer the room is destined for two persons, even for one person there was not enough space. the hairdryer in our room was broken. the light switches are placed completely inconveniently. you cannot switch off the light without getting up from the bed.Anonymous
