Description
Whether you are a tourist on a leisure trip or a business visitor, the non-smoking, family hotel Zandbergen is a great place to stay; your home away from home! Single traveler friendly due to the personal touch! The heart of Amsterdam is only 1,3 kilometers away, the Van Gogh museum 500 metres and Schiphol airport 15 minutes by taxi. Shopping district around the corner.
All 18 tastefully decorated rooms have private bathroom (these have been recently renovated to meet with modern standards), direct-dial telephone, cable TV, data connection, hairdryer and most rooms have a mini-bar. Free wireless internet connection available ! The family room has access to a private patio while the first floor suite has a spacious balcony. All rooms at the Zandbergen are situated on either the first or the second floor. For longer-term guests the Zandbergen Hotel also has a Penthouse Apartment.
Tea and coffee-making facilities are available on request as well as laundry services, dry-cleaning, secretarial, fax and email services. A central safe for personal valuables is available free of charge.
We will gladly arrange day-trips and excursions for our guests with a convenient pick-up service if required.

Zandbergen Hotel is situated in a residential area in the shopping area of Amsterdam, nearby Van Gogh museum and National Art Gallery. Hotel Zandbergen is ideally situated in the cultural heart of Amsterdam within walking distance of the museums and Concert hall. The Vondel park is just around the corner.
From the hotel it is 8 minutes to the city centre by tram and 15 minutes to the airport by taxi.
How to reach the hotel?How to reach the hotel
1) From SCHIPHOL AIRPORT: Every 20 minutes there is a train running from the Airport to Central Station. When you arrive at the airport and you reach the central hall there is a big sign with the train information. The trains to the Central station are running from 05:40 AM to 00:30 AM (go to step 2).
2) From CENTRAL STATION: From and to Central station you can take tram 2. This tram stops almost in front of the hotel (Stop = Cornelis Schuytstraat). The trams in Amsterdam are running normaly from: 07:00 AM to 01:00 AM.

The hotel was ideal. it was exceptionally clean. the location was fantastic in a quieter area of amsterdam, but near some good restaurants. what made the hotel so special were the staff. henk and his team were so friendly and helpful. they provided a first rate service.Michael Muha
