Pijp area in Amsterdam

Formerly a working class section of Amsterdam, de Pijp is a marvelous melting pot of cultures and nationalities. There have always been many settlers who have come here such as De Haan, Mondriaan and scores of students looking for a cheap room to rent. De Pijp is a lively bohemian district also known as the "Latin Quarter".
