Pros: The hospitality of anna & lydia was just astounding. we felt like family and they couldn't do enough for us. the rooms are lovely, the breakfast delicious and plentiful and the location is very convenient for a quick hop onto the subte and into the centre in 10 mins. great experience in every way!

Pros: The location was out of the centre, this had the advantage that everything was more authentic, a real bonus when looking for real tango. the rooms were large and clean. the breakfast was a feast, plenty of cakes. be prepared to put some weight on! the staff were all fantastic, friendly and so helpful, nothing was to much trouble, they really made you feel like 'one of the family'. most of the staff spoke english many with a very high degree of proficiency. had a fantastic stay and would fully recommend to anyone wanting a stay in buenos aires.
Cons: The location could be a negative for some though not us. lola is situated in the bodeo district, about a fifteen minute underground journey from plaza 25th de mayo. if you want to step out of your hotel and into the 'tourist attractions ' then this is not the hotel for you, however if you want to be amongst real argentinean people and experience things from their perspective then lola is ideally situated.
