While visiting Argentina and in need of a fun time, or just an excuse to either make or loose some money, the Race Track in Buenos Aires is sure to suit your needs. The Hipodromo, as it is known locally, has been in business since the 1876 providing fast paced and exciting horse races to the spectators. Easily able to accommodate over 10,000 visitors to the Hipodromo is the place to be. The Hipodromo is open every day all year around, at all hours of the night or day. Along with the horses visitors are able to play any of the 2,000 slot machines. Each race starts with a lavish display of the national anthem. The entire place is full of pomp and elegance but is not inaccessible to the regular visitors curious about the races.

Visitors are able to reach the Race Track some what easily through the subway. Making bets, if one is so bold, is also easily done. For those that have never attended a horse race, the Hipodromo promises to me an amazing experience.
