Latin American Art Museum of Buenos Aires

The Latin American Art Museum of Buenos Aires or MALBA as it is commonly referred to (using the Spanish acronym) is very important for the culture of South America. Featuring several well known Latin American contemporary artists, visitors are able to study pieces and works that they may otherwise not see. Often times the museum works together with other museums and private collectors to display unique shows and galleries. The Latin American Art Museum also features an impressive cinema which shows not only current movies but many classics and foreign features allowing for visitors to sample movies from all around the world. The museum has several artistic programs geared at spreading creativity and art appreciation to the community.
