The Royal National Park Sydney

The Royal National Park is considered to be one of the best national park in Australia and is very popular with hikers and campers. Established in 1879 the Royal National Park is one of the oldest of its kind and has enjoyed its popularity since that time. Originally named The National Park, the area was renamed in honor of Elizabeth II who toured the park in the 1950s.  The Royal National Park has several varying terrains from the high plateaus to the costal region and is home to several unique flora and fauna. Some of the different terrains include the Coastal heathland, Exposed uplands, and valley sides and each feature their own distinctive sights and sounds.
