The position of the hotel is excellent and all the major sights and ferries are within easy walking distance. it is especially convenient for those who are embarking or disembarking a cruise as it is a very short walk from the passenger terminal at circular quay. the room was exceptionally spacious with large bedroom, separate lounge with sofa bed, table and chairs etc, and kichenette; which was particularly useful as eating out is very expensive. the staff were friendly and efficient and everywhere was clean and well maintained. we would definitely recommend this hotel for its location and quality and we will rebook here if we are in sydney again.the lack of a restaurant is no problem as there are plenty of eating places nearby plus you have the option of eating in the apartment, like we did. a very enjoyable stay in a quiet, historic area. Was staying at travelodge, wynyard, but they did not have room for sunday 4th, so booked at stafford rendezvous. wish i'd been there all along. better (& cheaper)room. better facilities. (sink, microwave,stovetop). Anonymous

Conveniently located. nice, helpful staff. room was great with a living area downstairs and bedroom, bath upstairs.
The stairwell upstairs to the bedroom was steep and narrow. may be an issue for some people and carrying up a heavy suitcase could be an issue.Anonymous

Very pleasant staff, clean surroundings. a modern finish has been given to the foyer and pool area.The rooms, especially the bathrooms are a little dated and tired.
