The Ku-ring gai Chase National Park is one of the most popular national parks in Australia given its wonderful accessibility and facilities. The park is of great culturally importance as it features beautiful Aboriginal Rock Engravings which can be found all throughout the park so keep a sharp eye out for them. Visitors can participate in Aboriginal heritage walks and learn about the tribes and the culture that once dominated the land. There are several other activities for visitors to participate in including boating, swimming, cycling, and horse back riding.
This is an extremely popular area and is much loved by residents of Sydney and visitors. There are several facilities and amenities that can be found throughout the park though there are a few secluded areas for the adventurous of spirit. Picnics and barbeques are encouraged here but there are a few restaurants in close proximity. The Basin Campground is the only area of the park where visitors are able to camp and features wonderful sights and facilities.
