Rosebud Hotels and Accommodation
Nature lovers appreciate staying in one of the discount hotels in Rosebud. This quaint holiday village is located on the Port Phillips Bay and attracts fishermen and boaters year round. Rosebud Boat Hire is available for boat rental and will supply guides if needed for visitors to the area. They offer a wide range of craft including fishing boats, luxury vessels, and catamarans. They also have scheduled tours for dolphin watching and deep sea fishing. The Cape Schank and Morningstar Peninsula National Park are not far from the harbor and offer fun for the entire family. The park has several circuit walks that meander around the forests, ranging in difficulty from easy to hard.
Selwyn’s Fault is one of the highest points in the park with great views of the surrounding basalt cliffs and Fingal Beach. A short journey from the park is the Cape Schank Lighthouse, one of the area’s most popular tourist sites. Originally built in 1859, the entire lighthouse is made completely out of stone. Inland activities can also be found for land-lubbing guests. Cheap hotels in Rosebud are not far from the Ace Hi Ranch. The Ace Hi is a working ranch with 10 acres of free range wildlife. Visitors can choose to take a horseback ride on the beach, on the ranch trails, or in the forests.
