For females of all types, the ideal place to visit is the Baden Puppen und Spielzeugmuseum – the Doll and Toy Museum in the Villa Attems.

Helga Weidinger is responsible for a great part of this collection of historic dolls. This is a large collection containing everything from 18th century china head dolls to dolls from the 1950s. There is even a paper cut-out dress doll dating from the 1820s. Designed for the Viennese publishing company, H. F. Mueller, the doll has 8 different outfits. This museum arranges the dolls and toys thematically. They illustrate them to show the different aspects and types of dolls over the changing years. Dolls are not the only attraction. There is a kaleidoscope from 1760. You can also admire the many different types of children’s books dating from the same eras.
