The Varlburg region of Austria is home to several excellent ski resorts. There is the Lechtal with Sankt Anton am Arlberg and Lech. There is also the Warth-Schröcken.It is a union of two municipalities in the Varlburg offering good snow conditions and facilities to the public.

The ski region of Warth-Schröcken is at 1500 meters above sea level. This ensures a minimum of good snow conditions throughout the ski season. The equipment is very modern, recently updates to help it compete against such nearby heavy hitters as Lech and Sankt Anton am Arlberg. You can take any of 15 lifts, with four separate entry points. They consist of 4 Drag Lifts and 11 Chair Lifts. These can take you up to 2050 meters. This ski region boasts 66 km of pistes. The longest run is 5 km. The skill level you require varies. There are 13 Blue Runs, 11 Red Runs and 5 Black Runs. The ski region also boasts a large beginner’s area. You can locate it at the foot of the Salober. The hotel at the bottom of the ski lift also has a small hill for training.
