Sölden Ski Resort is not really a family affair. While they offer events and entertainments geared towards children – anyone under age 14, the resort mainly draws a crowd from age 20 to 30. It has a reputation for being a party –hearty resort. If you want fun, excitement and loud, ongoing action, head to the Sölden Ski Resort.

Skiing is done at high altitudes in Sölden, the Ötza’s Alpine Center. There are 34 gondolas and ski lifts to ensure you get to the top. Ski down any one of the 146 km of ski runs. Alternatively, take the famed Geislachkogelbahn cable car up the Geislachkogel peak. Enjoy the panoramic view at the top and the sights of the glaciers as you pass over them. The glacial fields, notably the Rettenbach and the Tiefenbach Glaciers, are one of the attractions of this ski resort. If glacier skiing does not attract you, there are three mountains, all topping 3,000 meters. Skiing is for all range of skiers, beginner, intermediate and expert. You have a chance at any of the 29 slopes.
