The Grassmayer Glockengiesserei is the Grassmayr Bell Foundry. It has been in production for over 400 years. Like so many of its kind, this is a museum for those who are intrigued by production of a specific product – in this case, bells. The company has a small museum and a tour. In this shop, you can learn the history of bells and bell making. You see the process of casting and learn about the tuning of bells, a very important process. Wander through the Casting Hall, the Bell Museum and the Sound Hall. After the tour and museum visit, you can purchase a bell in the company’s shop.
