There are many small lakes dotting the Tyrol landscape. These “bads” are popular places for bathing and indulging in water sports. Some are large lakes; many are small. Going am Wilden Kaiser has its own Badsee. This is the Goinger Badsee.

If you want to take dip in the summer and you are need Going, head to the base of the Kaiser Wild. This is a natural lake. Water flows down from the Wilden Kaiser to feed it and keep it clean. It has an excellent reputation among the international communities. The water remains warm during the summer, reaching around 24° centigrade. You can bathe in the water or sit and watch children and non-swimmers paddle near the edge. There are rafts for which the experienced swimmers head to on a sunny day, just to hang out. You can also catch or participate in a beach volleyball game. The Goinger Badsee is run like a pool. Hours are restricted to daylight.
