The Bergbahn Museum began as a project in 1993. Its intent originally was to celebrate the centennial anniversary of skiing in the region. The founders went through the archives to compile suitable material. They located documents and data on the subject of ski lifts. They also gathered enough artifacts to provide a unique exhibit on a chronological examination of skiing. There are exhibits of ski equipment from across the ages. The guides who conduct the tours are all former ski lift operators. They know the sport and the area inside and out. The location at 1,700m, allows you to also enjoy the marvelous view of the area.
