This luxurious Kitzbühel hotel boasts a privileged location, just a few minute walk from the old town, the shops, the casino and the ski lifts. Founded by ski pioneer Franz Reisch, the Sporthotel Reisch has been warmly welcoming visitors for nearly 100 years. It was almost entirely rebuilt following a fire in the 1980s, and it was renovated in 2008. In the Body & Soul Wellness Centre, hotel guests can use the Tyrolean sauna with a tiled stove, take a steam bath, receive a massage, or try the infrared cabin and the cold grotto. Other treatments include facials, depilation, body scrubs, manicures, and pedicures. Hearty Tyrolean cuisine is served in the hotel’s cosy, rustic restaurant. Kitzbühel is a downhill ski area of international fame, with 56 cableway and lift facilities and 168 km of ski slopes. Downhill races on the Hahnenkamm are a regular part of the men’s Alpine Ski World Cup. Other popular winter recreation includes cross-country skiing, snowboarding, tobogganing, and snowshoeing. In the summer, guests can choose from 120 km of mountain bike paths and 500 km of hiking trails. There are also 4 beautiful golf courses nearby, as well as the charming Lake Schwarzsee.
