Every year, the European Forum gathers in the small town of Alpbach. The event takes place at the Alpbach Congress Center. This structure is a modern convention center catering to the needs of both large and small groups. It also addresses such issues as environmental awareness, energy consumption and aesthetics.

The Alpbach Congress Center is a part of the mountainside. It is carved into or embedded in the rocky slope of the mountainside. There is some 2,200 square meters of floor space covering two levels. A spiral-shaped gallery lights up the area with top-to-bottom ceiling glazing. The main plenary hall has five seminar or committee rooms with state of the art equipment and facilities. There are eight other halls on level one. They vary in size and offer theater- and/or classroom-style seating. There is also a major hall with 5000 theater-seating as well as 250 classroom seating. You can have catered events.
